Peter J. Sharp, 59, of Washington Township, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 5, 2024, after a courageous battle with Pancreatic cancer. He was born May 27, 1964, in Natrona Heights, to Amelia (Mazak) Sharp, of Leechburg, and the late Milton W. "Pete" Sharp. Pete was a 1982 graduate of Leechburg High School and Lenape Vo-Tech. He worked as Vice President of Pittsburgh Power Inc. in Saxonburg. Pete enjoyed fishing, kayaking, riding his Harley and he especially enjoyed skiing with his niece and nephews. In addition to his mother, Pete is survived by his loving partner of 22 years, Corinna Hill; stepson, Brandon Sofaly; granddaughter, Braeliana Sofaly; brothers, Patrick (Barb) Sharp and Joseph (Melissa) Sharp; niece, Megan; nephews, Nathan, Drew, Jackson and Calvin and by his loving and loyal companion of 17 1/2 years, his dog, Maddy. Friends will be received on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m. in the Curran Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 300 Market Street, Leechburg. Burial will be private.
