Armed with gloves, trash pickers, bags, and bins, Lawrenceville business owners, representatives, and residents joined with Lawrenceville Corporation for an annual 'Butler Street Clean-up."
From 2 to 4 p.m., participants divided and conquered the lower and central Lawrenceville area, picking up litter from the streets and sidewalks up to 47th Street.
About a dozen trash bags were filled, and recyclables were accounted for and placed separately, so that all of the waste would be disposed of properly.
Afterwards, we enjoyed beverages on the Rooftop of Field Day, located on Butler Street.
