Fred Clifford Lydick, Jr., 59, of Salem Township, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024. He was born Dec. 12, 1964, in Jeannette, a son of the late Fred Sr. and Mary Lou Lydick. Fred was a very devoted husband and loving father. He was an active member of the New Alexandria Lions Club and the Salem Ukrainian Club. When Fred wasn't enjoying time with his family, you could find him passionately cheering for all of the Pittsburgh sports teams. He was the life of the party and enjoyed making people laugh. Fred had a true servant heart and was always willing to lend a hand to whoever and where ever it was needed. Fred is survived by his wife of 31 years, Tracy (Barton) Lydick; his children, Regan (Randall) of Greentree, and Brenden (Megan) of Salem Township; and his sisters, Kathie (Mark) Knupp, Sue (Tom) Kline, Debbie (Kevin) Ruff and Lori (Doug) Brown, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Fred will be greatly missed by his family, numerous friends, and his community. A gathering for Fred will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2024, at the VAIA FUNERAL HOME INC., 463 Athena Drive, Delmont (724-468-1177).
