If elected, I will:
…make public safety my daily concern.
…understand that the economic health of Monroeville depends on the residents and patrons
of Monroeville knowing that public safety is winning.
…because of the relationships I have built over the years, suggest that a focus of my position
on Council will be to promote and facilitate greater interagency cooperation with surrounding
law enforcement agencies to roll back crime in Monroeville.
…bring my total focus to Monroeville’s needs and agenda through my work on Council if
elected. This Ward 4 position will be my job.
…use my lifetime experience of professional excellence to improve the police department’s
crime fighting ability and trim unnecessary spending in the Municipality of Monroeville.
About William Krut
• Married to wife Cynthia for 36 years, with three children, Bill, Mike and Jess, and four grandchildren
• Monroeville Resident 28 Years
• Developed vacant land in Ward 4 of Monroeville, selling four building lots and earning money to build family
home
• Possesses a wide array of skills: auto mechanic, auto bodyman and refinisher in family business, experience
in retail sales of professional photographic equipment, experience with excavation equipment and driving a
tandem dump truck
• Served The Monroeville Police Department for nearly 28 years, 25 years in the Investigations Division
• Retired in April of 2021 as the second most senior MPD Officer after Chief Cole, at the rank of Detective
Lieutenant
• Independent contractor for a US Army Contractor training Special Operators
• U.S. Army Sergeant and Counterintelligence Special Agent, with a Top Secret Clearance / SCI access,
receiving numerous commendations
• Distinguished Graduate, U.S. Army Counterintelligence Special Agent Course, USAICS, Ft. Huachuca, AZ
• Strong Traditional Family Values
• Economically and Fiscally Responsible-will work to protect homeowners’ and taxpayers’ nest-eggs
