About
TribLive's Best of the Best is a community choice awards event that honors and recognizes the local businesses and organizations that make our communities great places to live, work and play.
Through Best of the Best, we invite readers and the public at large to submit nominations for their favorite local businesses in 125 categories across 4 regions. Those nominations identify the top 5 businesses in each category. Then, our readers cast their votes to name the Best of the Best winners and top 2 finalists in each of those categories. Last year, over 32,311 participants submitted 55,817 nominations and cast 207,707 votes!
The nomination phase kicks off in July, voting in September and the results are announced in early December.
