Service to the Community is an integral part of the ministry of Nativity Lutheran Church. This congregation is a strong supporter of the North Hills Community Outreach. Members of Nativity participate annually in the Fall Winter Coat Drive, the Thanksgiving Dinner Food Drive, the Citrus Fruit Drive, the annual Clothing Drive, and financially supporting the “Sharing Holiday Warmth” project. The congregation supports Lutheran Campus Ministry in Greater Pittsburgh both financially and through the contribution of “Final Exam” Care packages for the students at the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon. The congregation makes its facilities available to a variety of community groups on a regular basis.
