If you are one of those, then, please read on. 2 things that have been hidden, even stolen, from the Heavenly Father's people. THE FIRST THING IS HIS NAME. Nearly 7,000 times the translators removed our Creator's one and only personal name from the Bible. In it's place they substituted the words "the LORD" or "GOD". There are no words for "the Lord" or "God" in the original Hebrew Bible in those places where they put them. Some Bibles, like the KJV, put the LORD" and "GOD" in capital letters in the nearly 7,000 places where they replaced His name with them. This was to indicate that they substituted those words for the Creator's name. The Bible says not to add to or take away from what is written. Yet in translating they did both. It is time to restore His name wherever it was removed and had the words "the LORD" and "GOD" put in its place. (Some translations, like the RSB, have already done so.) This name is found basically in 2 forms. In the full form it is "Yahweh". It is also found in its shorter form as "Yah", like in the word "hallelujah" (which means "praise Yah"). When you put His name back where it was taken out, you find that He wants His people to call Him, and worship Him, by His name. Also this name of the Heavenly Father is found in the true Hebrew name of His Son, our Savior, in the form of "Yahshua", which means "Yahweh-Savior". Thus the Son also has the Father's name. There is much more to this that needs to be known. But even though it is very important we just don't have space to write it all here. THE SECOND THING IS THE TRUE SABBATH DAY. The Bible plainly says the 7th day is Yahweh's Sabbath day. It is His chosen day for us to gather to worship Him. But this day was changed to the 1st day during the great apostasy foretold by the original apostles. That apostasy started while they were still alive, but came into full swing shortly after they died. This can be clearly shown through the Bible and history. There is not a single New Testament Bible passage that shows the 1st day became the day of worship in the days of the early church as it is in most churches today. The ideas that (1) the Sabbath was made for the Jews and that (2) because we are not under the law we are no longer obligated to keep the Sabbath holy are plainly false as can be clearly shown by scripture. The Savior said the Sabbath was made for man" (Mark 2:27a). Notice that He said it was made for man" (meaning mankind) not that it was made just for the Jews. In fact, there were no Jews when He made it. Genesis 2:1-3 says, "Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. (2) And on the seventh day God ended his work which He had made, and He rested on the seventh day from all his work which He had made. (3) And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it He had rested from all his work which God created and made." That was about 1500 years before the law was given. The fact that we are not under "The Law of Moses" does not change the moral law, which includes that the Sabbath is still holy as Yahweh made it to be at creation, even before sin came into the world. He calls it "My holy day" in Isaiah 58:13, 14. Isaiah 66:23 shows that it will even be kept in the new earth. Again, there is so much more that we don't have space to write about here.
