A group of young Mexicans, who worked in different restaurants, decided to join forces and open a single Mexican restaurant that offered a cozy, home-like atmosphere at affordable prices. They wanted the place to remind patrons of “el paso”—the passage— into a different meal, full of feeling and flavor.
