Whether it’s an indoor or outdoor kind of weekend, there will be fun stuff to do in Westmoreland County. Here’s a few options.

‘On A Limb’ exhibit opening

Join You Are Here in Jeannette on Saturday for the opening of their “On A Limb” exhibit. The show features art in a number of different mediums that focuses on native birds and their habitats. It will feature artists who work in graphite, watercolors and photography. “On A Limb” will run through June 8, but You Are Here, located at 406 Clay Ave. in Jeannette, will be hosting the opening from 6 to 8 p.m.

Admission to the event is free, and it will feature music and light refreshments, as well as an opportunity to meet the artists and learn about native bird species.

Art on Tap: Fla-Mingle for National Flamingo Day

Celebrate these majestic birds — and the coming summer — with Art On Tap: Fla-Mingle at the Westmoreland Museum of American Art, located at 221 N. Main St., Greensburg. Tonight from 7 to 10 p.m., they’ll be bringing the retro beach vibes to the museum.

The event will include live music, lawn games, a tiki bar (with one comped drink!), a scavenger hunt, raffles and more activities. They will even be showing some beachy movies in the McKenna Gallery.

For food, they will have “light bites” and a sundae station, too.

The event is 21+. Admissions is $15 for non-museum members and $12 for members. To learn more and get tickets, visit thewestmoreland.org.
