Daniel James Brammell, 68, of Fredonia, PA, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024. He was born Oct. 3, 1955, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Roy Brammell, Jr. and the late Catherine M. (Audley) Brammell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia J. (Stramella) Brammell. Daniel lived a life devoted to selflessly giving to others, a lifestyle which was dictated by his strong Catholic faith as well as his kind and generous nature. He was a loving father, son, brother, family member, friend, and even surrogate parental figure, and will be remembered for his love for feeding hordes of his daughter's college friends as well as the unhoused in Pittsburgh. Daniel was also an outdoorsman, who spent his happiest days trekking the woods of his family's farm, hiking with friends or his daughter, and learning more about the natural world. Daniel is survived by his daughter, Sarah Brammell and two sisters, Sandy Brammell and Judy (James) Deely.
