Leechburg Hall of Fame dinner set for May 19

The annual Leechburg Hall of Fame Dinner will be May 19 at the Marconi Club, 135 River Ave., Leechburg.

A cash bar will be at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be at 6. This year’s honorees are Doreen Smeal, Darius Lovelace and J.C. Lovelace, posthumously. Tickets are $30 and include dinner and soft drinks.

Five Forces veterans charity plans golf fundraiser

A golf outing to benefit Five Forces veterans charity will be at 8 a.m. June 29 at the Links at Spring Church, 3257 Balsiger Road, Kiski Township.

Cost is $100 and includes pastries before golf, hot dog and drink at the turn, a rigatoni and chicken dinner and a cart. There will be skill prizes, mulligans, raffles and a 50-50.
