Robert G. Stover, 76, of Allegheny Twp., died Tuesday, May 7, 2024, in his home. He was born in New Kensington on Sept. 4, 1947, to the late Lee R. and Ann C. Simpson Stover and was a lifelong resident of the local area. Mr. Stover was a 1965 graduate of Plum High School and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked as an electrician for Edgewater Steel for 27 years and also worked as a maintenance coordinator for Converteam for 15 years. He enjoyed fishing with his grandson, his 1979 Corvette, collecting model cars, and going to car shows. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia Ann Fisher Stover; three sons, Dr. Robert 'BJ' (Denise) Stover of Irwin, Richard (Kristin) Stover of Danbury, CT, Jack (Renee) Stover of East Deer Twp.; seven grandchildren, Brooke, Skylar, Logan, Chase, Leah, Carter, and Adam Stover; sister, Carol (Walter) Obidowski of Lower Burrell; and brother, Lee (Patricia) Stover of Clarion. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at THE RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, 3124 Leechburg Road at Alder Street, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. by Rev.
