With the closure of the Jeffery property and school comes the opportunity to repurpose it into a non-profit community center funded by memberships, donations, grants, and other sources. The proposed Generations Community Center could fill this need through collaboration with existing providers in the area. The township itself does not want to finance, run, and maintain a community center at Jeffery. So Generations Community Center is our chance to have a place for fitness classes, art/craft classes, child care, room rentals, field sports, open gym, and more.
