Idid this because I wanted to get to know as many of you as possible and I wanted you to get to know me. Irealize that I haven't met all of you - but please know that I have tried. I have tried because I didn't want to be just a name on a ballot. As many of you are aware, the judges elected on Tuesday, November 5th, will serve in Family Court in Westmoreland County. This area of the law impacts our community on a very personal level-it involves the safety of our children and families. This is why I feel it is critical that you understand my background and why I want to serve as your judge. The bottom line is that if you catch a kid early in life-you can prevent so many problems. In family court you actually have the opportunity to intervene in a child's life before they are in any trouble with the law. I have been working with children and families since I was 21 years old. At 39, I have 18 years of practical/hands on experience and over a decade of practicing in the area of family law as an attorney. I have the background to keep our children and families safe.
