Public Input Hearings on Duquesne Light Company's Rate Increase Request -vu r ca- Duquesne Light Company (DLC) is encouraging customers to partake in public hearings about its recent rate increase request with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC). The PUC will hold two hearings via phone on Tuesday, June 22, at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. to gather public input on DLC's request, which would raise the monthly bill for residential customers using 600 kWh per month from $100.12 to $107.85 (7.72%). Those who wish to testify must register by Friday, June 18, at 4:30 p.m. Registration can be done online at DuquesneLight.com/publicin- put-hearings or by calling the Office of Consumer Advocate (OCA) at 1-800-684-6560 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. If registering over the phone, interested persons must provide their full name, phone number, email address (if any) and the topic of their testimony. Those registering online will be asked to provide their full name, home address, email address (if any), phone number, organization (if applicable) and whether or not they plan to testify. Starting at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. on June 22, those who registered will testify in the order they signed up.
