Mister Rogers Family Day is an annual community event that celebrates the life and legacy of children’s television personality Fred Rogers in his hometown of Latrobe, PA. It is free and open to everyone.
The main streets of Latrobe are closed to vehicles, allowing family-friendly fun to reign! Have your picture taken with Daniel Tiger and Katerina Kittycat, pose in front of the trolley, and take a seat next to the statue of Fred Rogers in the park. Don't miss the displays of historical memorabilia, free children’s activities, food, Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood and Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood merchandise, live entertainment from professional musicians, local dance groups and performers, and more!
The event not only commemorates “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood,” but also Fred Rogers’ message of love and kindness and neighborliness.
