John is a second generation funeral director with over 41 years of experience. He started his career under his father, John V. Graziano in Jeannette PA before purchasing the funeral home in Latrobe where he has served for over 36 years. With his daughter Maria following in his footsteps, they will continue the personalized commitment to serving family's in Latrobe and the surrounding areas for years to come. OUR BEGINNINGS The history of our family owned and operated funeral home dates back over 142 years, starting with the Hartman family. In 1882, James Wiley "J.W." Hartman opened the Hartman Funeral Home. In 1988, John Graziano and his wife Lisa purchased the funeral home from the Hartman family at its current location on 1500 Ligonier Street in Latrobe, incorporated and renamed the firm Hartman-Graziano Funeral Home, Inc. OUR COMMITMENT TO OUR FAMILIES AND THE COMMUNITY The Graziano family provides respectful and affordable burial, cremation, green burial, and memorialization services to families, while also offering the option of preplanning. We offer educational and grief support programs throughout the year, both to the community, and to the families in our care. Peace of Mind Seminar: An annual free seminar with topics focused on helping answer the frequently asked questions regarding funeral service and pre-planning. Holiday Remembrance Service: An annual remembrance service during the holiday season for the families of those in our care who have passed over the past year. Lighting Our Way: An annual free art therapy workshop, led by a certified bereavement counselor, where we gather together to create a remembrance lantern in memory of your loved one. Children's Grief Support Awareness: An annual partnership on Children's Grief Awareness Day to offer a free creative event to the community for children who have lost a loved one. Individuals seeking information on pre-planning, at-need, or aftercare services are able to contact the funeral home with no obligation and meet with John or Maria at no cost.
