Welcome to the Leechburg Volunteer Fire Company. Celebrating over 128 Years of Service! We are an incorporated, registered 501 (c) 3 , all volunteer fire company serving the Leechburg Borough and surrounding communities (via signed mutual aid agreements) for firefighting, river rescue, and dive operations and any dispatched scenario. We specifically respond as a dual alarm response with the Gilpin Township Volunteer Fire Company in addition we provide automatic and mutual aid to West Leechburg, Hyde Park, Parks Twp and Allegheny Twp. Funding for our service and existence is provided through direct donations, various fundraising events held through out the year, as well as various grants applied through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Federal Government and from a yearly allotment from the Borough of Leechburg. We take pride in our service to our community as well as our equipment. We are self governed by our membership headed by the President and by the Fire Chief. These officers answer directly to the membership body at a business meeting held the first Tuesday of each month. Fire Drills (Training) are held the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. We welcome new members, please stop down at the fire hall on Monday or Tuesday nights and make your request known to a member.
