This runoff carries with it pollutants which can harm aquatic ecosystems and poisons the water we use for recreation and drinking water. Many of these pollutants can be easily reduced with a little effort. Please partner with the Municipality and your neighbors to help us reduce runoff and pollution. WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP? DON'T BE PART OF THE PROBLEM! Don't dump anything other than water into storm sewer grates or onto roads! Don't dispose of pet waste in the storm sewer grates! Don't cause pollution by improperly draining your pool (or hot tub)! Don't dirty the water by washing your car in your driveway,. go to a car wash instead! Don't let your car, truck, boat, or motorcycle cause water pollution, fix fluid leaks promptly! Don't make your lawn green at the expense of the environment, be careful with lawn chemicals!
