Christ Church Fox Chapel is part of the worldwide Anglican Communion of roughly 70 million Christians. We are also part of the Anglican Diocese of Pittsburgh which has been serving Western Pennsylvania for 150 years.
We believe the Holy Scriptures to be the Word of God, containing all things necessary for salvation and we want to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with everyone by welcoming all to worship here.
We are catholic in faith (we believe all churches that worship the Father Son and Holy Spirit are part of one body of believers), reformed in doctrine (we trace our roots from the churches of the English reformation ultimately back to Jesus himself), evangelical in practice (we believe that only Jesus offers any hope of eternal life through his sacrifice once and for all on the cross), generous and welcoming in service (we seek to be a light to our community, not its judge), and charismatic in empowerment (we believe that the church is called and equipped by the Holy Spirit to go in peace to love and serve the Lord).
We believe in the Christian faith as expressed in the historic words of the creeds and the 39 articles of religion.
