To The Customers of Plum Borough Municipal Authority The Plum Borough Municipal Authority "Hydrant Flushing Program" will begin on Monday, September 18, 2023 and end on Friday, December 1, 2023. No work will be done on the weekends. This program is required to check the operation of all fire hydrants and to clean the distribution lines. While the crews are completing the Flushing Program there may be discoloration of the water. It is recommended that customers test the water before laundering or drawing large quantities of water during this period. Any discoloration of the water commonly clears within one or two hours.
