At the time, it was not possible to conduct a traditional funeral or memorial service. But honestly, anyone who ever met Jim would agree that 'traditional', or even 'normal' wasn't his way anyway! It's now time to say goodbye in a way befitting of our friend! The two things that spanned decades of Jim's life were Don Martin's Lernerville Speedway and W.L. Roenigk, Inc. Jim's hard work, dedication, and creativity helped to build each of those businesses into the successes they are today. So how do you combine those two worlds to commemorate Jim's life, with enough space to hold all of his friends and family? A number of years ago Jim, along with his brother "Ouch' Roenigk and cousin, Billy Roenigk, dreamed up the idea of racing school buses at Lernerville. So, what could be more appropriate as a tribute?
