Verona Borough Parks & Recreation Board formed in late 2016 and consists of 7 appointed members. The Board manages the parks and trails of Verona, Pennsylvania. We welcome ideas from the community!
Riverbank Park is located between Verona's Arch St. and the Allegheny River. It is a small park which contains a picnic pavilion, a children's playground, and a dual use, full sized tennis/basketball court. It also has new pickleball courts. With benches situated among large shade trees overlooking a spectacular view of the Allegheny River, many individuals use the park as a quiet meditative area where they can relax. The park is maintained by the Verona Council's Park and Recreation Committee and is continuously groomed by the Verona Maintenance Department and other contracted services as needed.
