Designed for children ages birth to 2 years old and their caregivers Maker Lab Tuesdays, April 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd at 5:00 PM: Calling all Junior Makers ages 6 to 111 Leam how to use different machines and supplies to create something completely new Music & Movement Every Wednesday Session #1 at 10:30 AM and Session #2 at 11:30 AM Come to the library to sing, move, dance, and make music together! Designed for children ages birth to 5 and focused on developing gross motor skills. Preschool Storytime Thursdays at 10:30 AM: Explore books, songs, and rhymes that expand the imagination inspire self-discovery, and develop early literacy skills in this 25-30-minute program. For children ages 3 to 5 years and their caregivers Toddler Storytime Fridays at 10:30 AM: In this 25-30-minute storytime, we focus on a theme while enjoying age- and developmentally-appropriate stories, songs, movement activities, and fingerplays. This program is designed for children ages 2 and 3 years old and their caregivers Spanish-English Storytime Saturday, April 6th at 10:30 AM: Join us for a Bilingual Storytime in English and Spanish featuring stories and songs that introduce concepts such as counting and colors in both languages. Young Readers' Book Club: K - 2nd Saturday, April 6th at 3:00 PM: Children in grades K to 2nd, join us once a month to share our love for reading! Each month, we will host a read-aloud and discussion around the book, then do a fun community art project together around our reading. Open Play Monday, April 8th at 10:30 AM: Children ages birth to 5 and their caregivers, enjoy playtime at the library with fun children's toys and music Future Engineers Thursdays, April 11th, 18th and 25th at 5:00 PM and Saturday, April 20th at 3:00 PM: Children ages 6 to 11, come brainstorm and have fun building with different materials as we come up with solutions to unique real-world problems. The engineering design process will be our focus as we investigate and create models.
